Professional Corporate Experience

Front Office Manager, Best Western International, Norcross, Ga. (1996-2010) Supervised front office operations, conducted daily closeout and audit procedures. Human resources administration, recruiting, hiring and training were major areas of responsibility.

Recruiting Department Manager, United States Census Bureau, Decatur, Ga. (1999-2000)

Management of 18-25 data entry clerks and recruiting assistants, responsible for the acquisition and screening of qualified applicants to conduct census operations. Duties included personnel processing through Federal administrative dept., public relations and customer service. All federal personnel files, records, and confidential information managed by recruiting department.

Record Center Supervisor, Iron Mountain Inc. Atlanta, Ga. (1997-1999) Responsible for the supervision and operation of six record center facilities and employees located throughout the metro Atlanta area. Duties included daily observation of operations at each facility including remote areas (100+ miles per day), ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all incoming, retrieval, and miscellaneous orders. Also, the logistical management of all buildings, equipment and personnel, the processing and maintenance of daily records, reports, and associated paperwork. Data entry and special projects division were also under my supervision. The record centers and all departments combined averaged 25-30 employees and included OSHA, county fire / building code compliance, and annual reviews for each employee.

Relocation Specialist, United Van Lines Inc. Doraville, Ga. (1992-1997) Responsible for intra and interstate relocation of office and /or household goods and furnishings. Supervised company relocation crews in daily management and transportation of customer shipping orders.

Distribution Center Associate, Snap-On-Tools Inc. Memphis, Tenn. (1991-1992) Training in every major area of operations in distribution center including; shipping & receiving, selection and packaging of tool orders, cycle counting, storing and handling of crated and palletized material, processing of all associated paperwork, routine cleaning and maintenance of facility and equipment, plus any and all activities required for an orderly flow of operations.

Flexographic Printing Press Operator, Sealright Company Inc. Kansas City, Mo. (1990-1991) Operation of In-line and stack printing presses (Champlain, Mark-Andy, Allied Gear, Wolverine 411 & 412) and related machinery. Responsible for production orders to a maximum of 900,000 pieces including material quality, clarity of print, die cut marks on containers, maintenance of equipment and meeting the current production schedule.

Utility Assembler Quality Control Supervisor, Ford Motor Co. Kansas City, Mo. (1977-1988) Assembled automobiles, including parts, sections and related services (riveting, welding, troubleshooting, electrical wiring assembly and routing). Utility Assemblers were responsible for the knowledge and proficient ability to perform fifteen (15) different job operations and the upgrading of the production system through supervision and quality control procedures.
