BELOW IS A DETAILED PROFILE OF MY TEACHING CAREER AT VARIOUS LEVELS FOR THE 7 YEARS, IN THE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES I HAD TAUGHT .

SAUDI ARABIAThe Programme involved up to 25 hours of classroom teaching weekly using both the Touchstone and Headway textbooks, to Saudi students enrolled on the Intensive English/SEN Programmes at King Saud University. I taught them the Preparatory Year Programme at King Saud University working with a number of students/ Adults from a variety of national/International and ethnic backgrounds. I also have background in special needs learning disability and language difficulties education; with educational administrative qualifications, with an understanding and creation of both curriculum and lesson plans development; as well I support IT learning programmes for students with special educational needs; in a number of faculties including Engineering, Management, Medicine and Agriculture.The programmes also consists of classes in English, Maths ICT. The programme involved teaching,course content and structure on a average class size is 20 students, with every student sitting a placement test at the start of the year to determine their level. Classes were streamed by ability (levels 1-6) with the aim of each level passing the Cambridge PET examination (IELTS for higher level students) by the end of the year. The core text format was based on the Touchstone and most recent Headway textbooks by Cambridge University Press.

Main Duties & Responsibilities.Preparation of lessons. Marking of homework, project work and classwork Development of supplementary materials to support the core syllabi and other coursesAttendance at staff meetings and workshops arranged by senior staff.To participate fully in the professional development programme .Play a full and active part in the life of the university Assessment To assist with the preparation, administration and marking of placement tests.To carry out regular, in class, progress and achievement testsPrepare students for mid and final examinations.To administer, mark and collate all test results.To maintain accurate records of all students’ work and test results.

MYANMAR

When I had taught for a Contractor; named RV International in Vietnam for a short time, teaching secondary students;I were promoted by this same Contractor and relocated to Myanmar, to teach/ Train at their managed MCTA international Academy School in Mandalay.Therefore; I see myself as both Teacher and Trainer; in that I have taught Primary & Secondary students within MCTA,Mandalay; and were Head Teacher part-time trainer, when it came for me to train the existing and newly appointed Burmese teachers.I improved their teaching skills. This were accomplished by either observing their assigned classes during the week,and formal training after school hours, or on Saturday afternoon, since we all had to be at the school every saturday until 12:00. My teaching involved Secondary High School Youths also Grade 6 to prepare those student for entry into Secondary 1 level. I use Step Ahead Text Books for both Primary Secondary level English. I provide educational guidance, counselling for students so that they will be able to further or pursue their education goals, so that upon completion of their Primary education at MCTA, I offer testing materials so these students will be promoted to the Secondary School where they will study for 4 years before sitting for the International General Cambridge Secondary Examinations (IGCSE) administered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).This Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is one of the most recognised qualifications around the world. I provided IGCSE courses to develop vital educational skills, including recall of knowledge, oral skills, problem solving, initiative, team work and investigative skills.

VIETNAM

Used The Singapore Primary Curriculum Framework Using “My Pals are here Text Books for Primary level for teaching a comprehensive set of learning objectives for English, for each year of the primary education amongst other subjects. This Primary Curriculum Framework provides a natural progression through six levels of primary education, from Primary 1 when children first enter primary education (after kindergarten) to Primary 6. I offer students the full-fledged international school environment, facilities, faculty and internationally recognized qualifications such as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (iGCSE) by University of Cambridge International Examinations and International Primary School Leading Examinations (iPSLE) by Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board.

THAILAND Implement educational programs for Basic English and non-English students using the “Lets Go” text books. Develop training and teaching programs for the school and provided leadership. Wrote and implement educational programs.
