Summary
I have alwasy worked close with engineering on form routing of jobs and processing new jobs, Close
relations with inspection and documentation and in-process certification .I am a highly skilled CNC
Machinist with 25 years plus in extensive setup and program adjustment. Working extensively with
engineering .I do first time set ups and program auditing to insure quality meets or exceeds the
customers requirments.
Highlights
• Job shop machining exotic alloy materials for the last 20 years
• .Manual machining as the job requires
• Threading and gauging per drawing requirments
• Problem solving
• Fine motor skills
• Mathematical aptitude
• CNC Lathe set up and operate as per company requirments
• I am at work everyday on time
Accomplishments
Efficiently machined (small and large parts on CNC and manual machines
machined parts to tolerances of + or - .001 or less.
Proposed process changes that
significantly improved quality and efficiency.
Experience
Machinist from 09/1992 to 04/2015
SBO Knust Houston, Tx
Selected appropriate speeds and feeds according to type of metal and finish specifications. Gauged
and maintained tolerances on diameters, depths, squareness and parallelism. Operated hand tools, drill
presses, riveting
machines and tap burners. Maintained logs, lists and files and promptly completed all necessary
paperwork. Measured
and marked dimensions and reference points accurately. Measured instruments to verify compliance
with precise specifications. Dismantled and inspected components and adjusted and repaired them as
necessary. Trained, directed
and instructed apprentices and helpers. Measured, marked and indicated proper dimensions and
reference points on
materials and work pieces for future reference. Calculated and set controls to regulate machining
factors like part speed,
feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut and clamping methods. Machined small and large parts to
tolerances of + or -
.001 or less.
Machinest
MIC Brenham
August 2015 to July 2016
I went to work at MIC and continued my career as a job shop machinest.I ran a cnc lathe and several different
manuel machines.the materials were mostly exotics and all documentation was to 9002 standards.
Education
Cy-Fair High School - Diploma
Wharton Jr. College - 2 years - No Degree
Numerous Machine Shop related Certificates of Completion
