Nature of work : NDT Inspection ( MT, PT, UT, VT) methods on welded parts as per Customer Quality Plan. Liquid Penetrant Testing and in fabrication parts like shafts and plates, thickness testing like cylinder wall thickness by UT Thickness gauge, Visual Examination of materials.

Magnetic Particle Testing (Full body) on various OIL TOOLS like Spider/Elevators, Single joint and Side door Elevators, Slip body, Slip Assembly and Wire ropes(Slings)- VI and MPI.

Welding inspection on like Containers, Power unit and Power Tongs, eta. Handling Measurement Tools like Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Bore gauge and Depth gauge to measure Oil Tools. (Check ID for single joint and Side door Elevators as per API Specification and check OD for Drifts, eta.).

In the Magnetic particle Testing we using three method. 1.white contrast and black magnetic ink 2.UV light method, 3.capacitors discharge method (coil method)

To check load carry equipment’s part like Crane hook shafts, Pins and other steel, Alloy equipment’s Using Liquid penetrant test as per the customer requirement.

Involve and handled to test the load (LOAD TEST) of Oil Tools/Equipment’s like Containers, Power Units, Power Tongs, spring hanger, Lift cylinders.

Working for Franks International Pte Ltd - Singapore as a third party inspection Full time service support.
