Operations Manager
Geodis is a world wide 3PL provider serving distribution, Logistics and Transportation needs for top tier companies
Responsible for all aspects of operations management, performance, cost control, inventory, quality, and efficiency for weekend shift by providing leadership direction to a team of 4 Indirect Supervisors and 185 employees.
Worked with a team of 4 Managers in a startup operation from ground to production in less than 3 months to ensure readiness for Peak season.
Currently running the largest operating shift for Inbound, Outbound and VAS work with volumes exceeding 200k units being shipped daily.
Responsible for getting safety program up and running for an account that runs 24/7 and has a total of up to 500 employees.

Operations Manager
UWT Logistics is a Memphis-based 3PL provider serving local interests as well as being the
largest distribution facility for Energizer, Schick, and Playtex products in North America
Responsible for all aspects of operations management, performance, cost control, inventory ($77 million), quality, and efficiency for five national accounts (Energizer, Schick, Playtex, PBG, and Drake) by providing leadership direction to a team of 178 employees at two warehouse facilities totaling 900,000 ft. .
• During initial years with the company, saved $300,000 annually by radically transforming the three shift operation to one shift through elimination of redundancies, improving processes, reducing labor, and reassigning pick line locations and inventory teams.
• Relocated warehouse operation from a 300,000 ft. to a 500,000 ft. facility and successfully completed the move in a four-day weekend with no loss in customer shipping/delivery time; designed the new facility layout resulting in substantial improvements in workflow and space utilization.
• Served as a key member of the management team during company’s aggressive growth and acquisition of a second 400,000 ft. distribution facility in 2015 with 60 employees and two shifts running six days per week.
• Developed and implemented an incentive plan that generated $260,000 in annual savings by implementing measurable quality, production, and attendance goals that ultimately doubled shift output and eliminated the need for third shift operations.
• Created and established more sophisticated productivity and quality assurance KPI metrics that improved reporting and data analysis capabilities for corporate customers and increased picking accuracy to 99.97%.
• Conceptualized and implemented new hire orientation/training program that improved on-boarding efficiency, increased employee retention, and shortened new hire “ramp up” time to becoming productive employees.

Operations Supervisor
Kenco Group is a North American, full service 3PL provider offering contract warehousing,
public warehousing, and supply chain management services
Earned multiple promotions with the company through positions as Warehouse Associate, Foreman, Supervisor and ultimately into the leadership position of Operations Supervisor managing 74 employees for the Cummins diesel engine account within a 750,000 ft. facility.
• Started with the company in Southern California and was selected by the senior management team in 1996 as one of only three employees to relocate to Memphis and open the new facility.
• Improved overall performance and information management for the new facility by serving on the Warehouse Management System integration team that converted the facility to the MOVE WMS application.
• Served on the team that relocated (within one week) the Onan PDC from Huntsville, AL to the Memphis distribution center and was specifically responsible for the facility layout.
• Chosen as Supervisor over the highest value inventory in the distribution center and was successful in maintaining inventory accuracy above company expectations of 97%.
• Recognized for achieving 100% on time shipping of 2600 lines of emergency replacement engine parts every night.
