To obtain a position that will best utilize my skills as an ARNP. I will graduate this March from Kaplan University. I have a health care background that entails working with our youth and feel advocating for their mental, physical, and emotional well being is extremely important for their development in society. Communicating with their families, and taking the role as their advocate for their health care needs as an educator is my passion. I have experience with Pediatrics, Mental Health, Hospice, Home Care, Medicare Audits, Clinical Nursing, rehabilitation, and Gerontology. I have taught second year nursing as an educator at Iowa Central Community College, focusing on mental health of our youth. I teach medication management as well as the certified nursing assistant class as well.

I opened up Complete Care, LLC, which provides private nursing care for the last seven years. I helped open up a rehabilitation unit at Friendship Haven for those needing short term skilled care. I feel I hold leadership and very personable skills. Since joining Ultimate Nursing Services in 2012, I have gained a whole new role in my nursing skills. I have learned to care for pediatric clients involving their needs for rehabilitation, tracheostomy care, feeding tube, and their emotional, personal, and spiritual needs as well. I enjoy working with pediatrics and found a need for the advocacy of mental health for our youth as well. My passion to educate is my priority in my nursing career. Positive reinforcement and being a healthy role model is pertinent for our young members of our community.
