Architectural Engineer: (Sep, 2016 – Current)

Working as Architectural Engineer in AKM&PARTNERS on: A. 3 villas B. 1 Apartment Building

C. Private Farm and resort

D. 2 Gas Stations

My responsibilities in these projects were:

Analyze the feasibility of the building's operating systems

Work closely with project managers and provide inputs on design of buildings

Review the design specifications of buildings and plan work accordingly

Site inspection and supervision for the construction phase (Structure, Architecture, Mechanical and Electrical discipline)

Analyze areas that need improvement and work on it

Summer Internship: (2015)

Two months training in Salamah Consulting Engineering (SaCEn). This experience qualified me to set out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification and to check materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements. Moreover, Observance of safety requirements was a vital part of this period of training. I had the chance to be involved technical reports and site diary. Last but not least, it improved my people skills and professional ethics. Part-time Jobs:

UNIVERSITY PROJECTS

Senior Design: (2016)

The senior design project was entitled: Grand Mosque Acoustical Design in Islamic Culture Center in Dhahran for Sound Quality and Cost Effectiveness. The design includes many challenges such as the geometry of the building and the variation of the building’s functions. Equipment Productivity Estimation: (2015)

The main objective of this project was to research for the methods used in construction industry for equipment productivity estimation. The project discussed the main methods used and how it differs from each other. Economic Analysis for HVAC System: (2015)

The main objective of this project is to apply cost estimation and simple economic analysis on a case study. The case study is used to help a client who own an office building located in Al-Khobar and wants to invest his money in the best alternative among suggested HVAC system alternatives. Two alternatives have been provided: Normal envelope system with ordinary HVAC system and well-isolated envelope. Mall Design: (2015)

The task was to design a commercial mall inside KFUPM. Design includes: Structural, Mechanical and Architectural drawings.

HVAC Design: (2015)

This project has discussed the design process for HVAC system for an office building. Starting from the analysis of the building and going through all the necessary calculation and finishing by choosing all the components of the system.
