Personal practice: I’ve been practicing various styles of yoga for 16 years including: Prana Flow Vinyasa, Hatha and Sivananda yoga.
Teaching philosophy and approach: I believe yoga is for everyone. My classes can accommodate students of all levels, helping them to explore their bodies through yoga breathing, deep relaxation and proper alignment to prevent injury. I like to highlight the health and healing benefits of the poses.
I know how to teach students to get into a pose and make it more challenging or how to modify the poses to fit the level where they are in their practice at the

Testimonials at www.Robynshealthyliving.com
“Robyn’s knows how to give students a gentle push for them to do their best. She makes me feel that what are considered “hard poses” are easier then it looks. Robyn is always giving me encouragement to take my practice to a deeper level, but at my own pace. Robyn has a true passion for yoga and understands the spiritual, physical, emotional and mental aspects of the practice. Keme Hawkins, Atlanta, GA
“I had heard of yoga a long time ago and always wanted to try it. When I attended Robyn’s class in California’s Bay Area, I felt so lucky to have her as an instructor. She is a very nice, gentle and easygoing instructor, always teaching with loving smiles. Robyn is a good listener. She would answer every question I raised and supported me in every pose. Robyn uses special methods and techniques and incorporates music into her class. After practicing yoga, there is a peace and harmony that surrounded me, which was a wonderful feeling to have at the start of my day.” Shaoyu Zheng, Oakland, CA and Guangzhou, China
“I have known Robyn since my yoga teacher training days. I have always seen a light in her yoga practice. I have attended many of her classes. She is a wonderful yoga teacher, who is very personable and approachable. Robyn’s yoga classes match all levels whether a person is a beginner or an advanced practitioner. She understands alignment, modifications and has a solid knowledge of the asana practice, breathing exercises and meditation.”
Suchi Vatturi, Yoga Instructor, Fort Lauderdale, FL
“Finding an excellent yoga teacher can be an intriguing process. Finding the RIGHT one can be monumental in changing your life in a myriad of ways (physically, emotionally, mentally). As a health educator and chiropractor for over 16 years, as well as a yoga teacher myself, I know it’s essential for a great yoga teacher to have knowledge of the body, mind, spirit. It is also important to find a teacher that can be present and attentive to each student. In addition, to being able to make all students feel welcome and safe at whatever their level or ability, Robyn is also able to meet the needs of her students, which is paramount. I have complete confidence and total trust in her abilities as a teacher.” Dawn Sissing-McGee, Bangkok, Thailand and Durban, South Africa
“Robyn has a keen eye for each student’s ability, yoga-wise, she knows how to adjust poses for each student’s level, but then also, teaches you a bit more, assisting students to advance their practice. I find her presence soothing and her classes are relaxed, yet an intense workout at the same time.”
