While New Hope is a PRTF, Starting Pointe specializes in treatment for adolescent males who have sexually harmed. As a counseling intern, I lead groups, individual sessions, and family sessions. I worked closely with a supervisor and worked with her caseload ranging from 10-12 residents. I lead three groups a week on the unit, and every resident came to my group once a week.
