Job Summary :

‘ Provide necessary industry standardized Service and support towards Telco data Transmission networks for the implementation and integration of core networks, access and leased transmission links including Satellite, microwave ( PDH/SDH/IPs ) and optical media’. Roles and Responsibilities :

Offer technical leadership role in network services design, deployment and fault management on specific transmission network nodes: multi-vendors ptp and ptMp microwave radio relays and Multiplexers, IP switches & routers, Satellite modems & other transmission networks equipment. which extends to Remote integration and configuration of transmissions network elements for defined SLAs, Qos and unique customer experiences.

Resolve inter-BTSs/ interconnecting transmission cross-connections .Escalate links faults to BTSs vendors and follow up with third party service providers to ensure these faults are resolved within defined SLA.

Co-ordinate I.T/Technical Solutions Vendor Management for compliance and acceptable service/projects delivery on contracted jobs to specifications, scope and budget. This also includes services commissioning and acceptance testing.

Supervision and assisting in managing the performance and availability of networks wrt to Services helpdesk ticketing incidents, resolutions, problem & event management.

Comprehensive documentation and adherence to sets of records for all transmission links wrt network security and integrity via the organization ERP systems for effective Incident & resolutions management.

Schedule and co-ordinate Performance of preventive & corrective maintenance, problem management, acceptance and fault management and logging the performed activities in specific organization ticketing tools for tracking and building knowledge base systems.

Proactively identify and anticipate network performance issues (traffic/quality/resiliency) and provide recommendations for improvement. This responsibility extend to industry/local regulators and sponsors/stakeholders expectations management, vendor relations and internal team resources co- ordination.
