CAREER OBJECTIVE: Direct the operations of Well Services and provide advice on optimal well service equipment and methods to be used, as well as lift boat and rigless operations, ensuring the effective deployment and evaluation of coiled tubing operations, perforations, production logging and all wireline activities associated with offshore fields, in addition to coordinating tool equipment and manpower resources.

Coordinate technical studies to improve overall efficiency of Well Services activities.

Direct and oversee the development of detailed proposals for various testing, rigless, wireline and completion activities, assigning work to subordinates and reviewing / evaluating draft proposals for technical and operational feasibility, adding or modifying details to completion drawings and technical matters as required.

Oversee and ensure the efficient, methodical and safe operations of Well Services, including the preparation and testing of tubing, downhole equipment, subsurface safety valves, X-Mas Tree, and wireline operations during subsequent production phase, in addition to coordinating well integrity operations and diagnosing abnormalities of well behaviours downhole and surface, whilst ensuring all operations are carried out in accordance with all stipulated guidelines and procedures.

Conduct accident/incident investigations.

Participate and coordinate in the development, review, approval and implementation of the Annual Logging Campaign with concerned units in Offshore Operations and production.

Liaise with and advise the reservoir unit and colleagues in the Offshore Operation section about the latest technological developments in Well Services and completion through organizing and attending conferences, seminars and meetings on such developments.

Interact with various support contractors on the daily basis and handle all technical and administrative aspects of such contracts.

Plan and prepare the budget of the Well Services unit, and monitor the spending of capital resources and exercise the financial authority in accordance with Dolphin Energy’s manual of authority.

Approve equipment requirement.

Monitor the performance of subordinates and direct report, recommending appropriate training courses if there are particular knowledge / skill deficiencies, whilst creating avenues for the progression of staff.

Review and agree well completion and well services work programs.
