Experience- I have twenty years of experience with a diverse number of duties in the clerical function of

Insurance Companies working with workers compensation in the medical department, auto and

homeowners.

Major attributes include but not limited to: Working with the public and assisting them in the stressful

General Labor- food service, prepare all food for metro school children. My responsibilities also include

Argos Workers Compensation Brentwood Tn. - 04/04/05 to 05/16/2010

Claims Assistant- Duties included but not limited to, answering all incoming calls, field questions from

clients in regards to workers comp claims, opening and closing sorting of mail, delivery to adjusters and

logging checks. I was also responsible for transcribing all recorded statements from cassettes to computer

files, reviewing all bills for bill review and mailed. Other daily duties such as working closely with

adjusters, check issuance, filing, scanning, requesting medical records, as well as, C-20 1st report of

injury, C-30, clear coverage complete state filing, input lost reports, index all medical bills and send to

bill review, issue payment after review, mileage checks and other duties as required.

The Heart Group Nashville, Tn. 08/02/02 to 09/25/2005

Insurance Verification Clerk- Confirmed all medical coverage for 28 cardiologists on patients and

schedule testing. I entered all demographic and insurance information into system and entered invoiced

charges for patient visits.

Work Comp Medical only Adjuster- Responsibilities include response to incoming claims, transcription,

contacted and verified with employer injuries of the client, mail, cross trained in lost time claims, verbally

took lost reports over phone, via faxes and email.

Farmers Insurance Group, Nashville, Tn. 03/93 to 05/99

Medical Pay Clerk- I was responsible for corresponding with patients, doctors and attorneys or any other

interested party. I also reviewed and requested payments for medical expenses for my clients. Began

cross training with subrogation claims. This included setting up files for collection, logging checks and

corresponding with customers about the status of their claim. I also completed other duties such as check

issuance, filing, answering phones and receptionist duties.

Admitting Clerk/Assistant- I worked in main admitting, the emergency room department, outpatient, the
