Start-up Engineer: Served as a Start-Up Electrical/Controls Engineer for a paper products plant and coffee plant. Responsibilities included PLC programming, DCS configuration, DC-drive systems, and complete checkout of the electrical and instrumentation system. Construction coordination, field engineering, preparation of system turnover packages and plant personnel training was also part of the start-up responsibility.
Area Electrical Engineer: Responsible for development of power distribution single lines, logic diagrams, schematic diagrams, short circuit calculations, lighting and grounding design and PLC programming. Inspected electrical and control equipment at the manufacturer’s plant prior to shipment to the site.
