(Summer and winter) Qiqihar LongYi Material Distribution Co., Ltd. - Qiqihar, China.

• Reported quantities of materials, project progress, to the material department.

• Coordinated with the material department the storage of materials required for projects:

• 1. Calculations of weights and volumes of inventory of materials’ import and export data (e.g., sand, gravel).

• Issued appropriate documentation to relevant departments after acceptance checks applicable to storage material was conducted.

• 2. Checked the quality of materials in stock. According to the data that customers provided for the needed materials, test materials (shale, basalt, granite, diorite, etc.) and qualities (grain size, grain type, needle flake, gradation, degree of weathering, density etc.). Arranged and transfer of the materials from warehouse; at the same time provided all the issued documents to the relevant departments.

• 3. Maintained and updated all relevant data needed by departments of storage conditions, material inventory cleared daily and settled monthly.

2550 S University Blvd, Denver, CO 80210 wang **********@*****.*** 720-***-**** RELEVANT COURSES AND PROJECTS:

• Master’s Report - Merge LOS and Crash Data In Arc Map

§ Using Synchro software mapping 8 intersections on the East Arapahoe Rd from Yosemite St intersection to Peoria St intersection.

§ Using Notepad and Excel to automate the transfer of LOS results from Synchro directly in to an Arc GIS map.

§ Using Arc Map to determine the location, and through a series of operation made the data on the Synchro better reflected in the on Arc Map.

§ Displayed LOS and crash data together for the same locations on an Arc GIS map. Using different color to indicate different data in order to reflect the data on the exactly more clearly.

§ Displayed the different LOS results in the same location to do comparison.

• Building information Modeling (BIM) – Revit and Nevisworks

§ Using Revit to do a 6 floors office building with other 2 students as a group.

§ Reading Auto CAD Data and doing calculation about measures of walls need to be drawn, especially the interior walls and exterior walls.

§ The parts I responsible are stairs, exterior walls, interior walls, mechanical, lights, ceilings, floors and office furniture. And, parts of the inner walls and exterior walls’ material and stickiness, door and window.

• Traffic Operations and Control – Signal Corridor Modeling Using Synchro

§ Based on East Arapahoe Road between Yosemite Street and Peoria Street 8 intersections to build the Synchro map.

§ Using Synchro report the existing roads’ HCM sheet, MOEs Sheet, Time-Space diagram, HCM level of Service and Average Control Delay table. Analyzed the existing road conditions and the reasons that made the current road conditions.

§ Using 120s cycle length, 130s cycle length and 135s cycle length effectively change the road conditions ((how to make roads change smallest, and spend minimum cost to optimized the best the road conditions).

§ Compared and analyzed the data to find out the best solution as recommended road conditions. Doing the comparison between the existing road conditions and the recommended road condition displayed by Excel.

§ Self-doing existing and recommended road conditions wheel diagram.

• Traffic Impact Assessment – Traffic Impact Analysis for Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) State Highway Access Permit Application - Prepared for: Wells Fargo Bank

§ Description of proposed development site or change in area’s road system including discussion of primary concerns and potential impacts.

§ Using Google Earth marked the aerial view of the roads; Google Map marked regional characteristics; and Synchro software to draw the whole intersection located at 23500 U.S. 160, CO. 81089 (on the southwest corner of U.S. 160 and I-25), clearly marked traffic situation

(including lane configurations, etc.).

§ Marked Google Map adjacent access points within 1000 feet of proposed access road characteristics, land use, topography, lanes and make turns lanes); using AutoCAD drew a set of the Wells Fargo bank vehicle circulation and possible entrances and exits.

§ Gathered existing traffic volumes. Provided a diagram of existing volumes in immediate vicinity, and intersections that might be impacted by project. Identification and inventory of time-of-day traffic volumes, vehicle types, turn movements, and pedestrian crossings. Analysis of existing traffic operation plans and levels of service including discussion of pre-existing conditions

§ Gathered 20-year factor from CDOT and other sources of information. Show future volumes of background traffic in 5 years and 20 years.

§ Using Auto CAD drew the parking requirements and diagram showing proposed site circulation, according to the evaluations above.

§ Analysis of built-out and future traffic operation plans, road geometrics, levels of service, and parking requirements. Discussed alternative mitigation measures and possible developer Haotian Wang

2550 S University Blvd, Denver, CO 80210 wang **********@*****.*** 720-***-**** requirements, overall recommendations to maintain existing levels of service and safety, or not to exceed acceptable levels.

• Introduction to GIS – Noxious Weeds Growth Behavior in Colorado.

§ According to the data showed that the growth behavior noxious weeds in Colorado had two reasons: along the highway growth caused by vehicles’ exhaust,;and due to the large amount of carbon dioxide after forest fire

§ Using Arc Map marked Colorado's highway and noxious weeds growth path in one map; and the locations that forest fires covered in Colorado and noxious weeds growth path.

§ Doing Comparison between Highways & Noxious Weeds and Wildfire & Noxious Weeds by using Arc GIS and Excel to find out the main cause of the noxious weed growth behavior.

• Highway Capacity Analysis– Should Start-up Lost Time Include Many More than The First 4th Vehicles Queue at A Red Light?

§ Based on the intersection – South University Blvd and Evens Ave intersection.

§ Collected the vehicles volume data: Monday (12:30 pm to 13:30 pm) collected 15 cycles and Friday (2:00pm to 5:00 pm) collected 28 cycles from Southbound to Northbound go through vehicles that queued after a right light; the time that first 4 vehicles passed by the intersection after the traffic light changed from red to green; and the time that the vehicle in the queue passed by the intersection after the traffic light changed.

§ Collected the road conditions data: lane width for the intersection; parking and bus stop; grades should be for all intersection as flat as possible; no major pedestrian activity; good weather conditions; and, Cycles with very slow moving vehicles for some unusual condition (for example, ambulance passing by) were not included, also, heavy vehicles in queue were not included

§ Calculated and analyzed the collected data by using the equations. Analyzed the road conditions gave the results that the calculation of start-up lost time for different road conditions intersection should be change, for example, the intersection used in this project should not just use first 4 passed by vehicles time to do the calculation, because the bus stops were to dense, the truck in the traffic lane or beside would slow the whole lane, Driver distraction (for instance, cell phone, GPS, Music) .
