Beginning in 1997 I began working for my first residential builder in southwest Florida. This job was all encompassing from breaking ground and hammering the permit board into a vacant lot to performing the walkthrough with a satisfied customer. This expedited process took roughly 90 days and stretched steadily at a pace of 25 homes per quarter. After learning the process first hand for 2 years, I went into business for myself. At Sandollar homes, my company, I designed homes, permitted homes, built 2 model homes, assembled and maintained a sales & superintendent staff, negotiated pricing with subcontractors, scheduled all work, worked with city officials on many different issues in all levels and phases of the construction process.

I possess extensive experience in ground up commercial, retail, and residential construction from ground breaking to final occupancy and all phases in between. 10+ years solid commercial experience; successful projects included 1 to 7 million dollar range involving strip malls, restaurants, office space, retail showrooms, and cultural centers. Hands-on ability to select and oversee subcontractors, manages schedules, provide direction, control quality, ensure safety, resolve problems, and create an atmosphere of teamwork. Solid knowledge base in skilled trades, estimating, cost management, zoning issues, code compliance, building inspections, and store build-outs. A history of excellent working relationships with customers, architects, engineers, design consultants, county officials, subcontractors, realtors, and tenants.
