Shell scripting was heavily used to create programs that ftp files from source to staging. The files were then prepared for loading using various Linux utilities. Shell script loaders were then created using Oracle import utility, SQL loader and external tables to load XML and flat files to staging tables in the data warehouse.

Designed and developed several ETL processes to load data into the target Data warehouse, with complex transformations, lookups, check dimensions and fact table calculation.

Created and optimize existing queries and ETL processes to load and process data for reporting in a timely manner against datasets having terabytes of data.
