Detective 2- Metropolitan Police Department September 2000 Present
Perform regular investigations for complex and high profile cases, and document information to maintain integrity of information. Handle various cases from Financial and Cyber Crimes and Fraud Unit, including White Collar Crimes such as Embezzlement, Fraud, Theft, Identity Theft, and Internet Scams. Provide supervision and training to other detectives to ensure compliance to Federal, State and local regulations for investigations. Analyze crime reports and identify trends to get hold of the right suspect. Coordinate with various police departments and established professional relationships with Federal State and local agencies in the pursuit of justice. Responsible for conducting presentation to the community organization on crime prevention. Go beyond the normal investigation process in investigating complex cases to develop eyewitnesses and other leads in order to solve cases. Ensure the safety and protection of witnesses during investigations. Collaborate with other government agencies, police officers, agents, financial institutions, and nonprofit organizations. Also Acting Sergeant in charge of Financial & Cybercrimes and Domestic Violence Unit since July 2016. Charged with assigning, reviewing cases and supervising detectives civilians and officers assigned to these units.
