ESENSORS, INC. • Amherst, NY (Oct 2016 – Jan 2017) Hardware Design Engineer
Designed wireless sensors using Microchip PIC. Assembled and tested the functionality of the electronic circuits and sensors.
Worked on MICRF114 Wireless Security Development board. Serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI) were used while programming the board.
PROJECTS
Design of a Linear Voltage Regulator ASIC/ VLSI using Cadence (May 2016)
Created a 2.4 V constant voltage regulator using AMI16 technology consisting of two-stage cascade op- amp, widlar band gap, current source, and current sink circuit. Designed a power transistor with a current handling capacity of 125 mA and power of 320mW. Design of Two-Stage Operational Amplifier (Dec 2015)
Verified a Two-Stage Operational Amplifier with TSMC025 technology with a phase margin of 60o, voltage gain greater than 7500 and output voltage between 0.4V to 2.9V. Guitar Pickup Using Hall Sensors (Dec 2016)
Designed a pickup circuit for guitar consisting of Hall Effect sensors and operational amplifiers. Signals from Hall Effect sensors was filtered using band-pass filters which had frequency range specific to the guitar strings and the resulting signals were buffered to the amplifier. Fabrication of a Crystalline Si P-N Junction Solar Cell (Dec 2016)
Fabricated a crystalline p-n solar cell on a p-type Si wafer with the front panel designed on AutoCAD. The process of Photo Lithography, Exposure, Development, Metal deposition, Lift off, Annealing, and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) were carried out.
Gesture Controlled Robotic Arm (May 2015)
Implemented an Arduino Uno based system which takes gesture input from a webcam and synthesized by using MATLAB. Synthesized signals are interfaced using Arduino Uno to control the robotic arm.
