• Assist in Emergency Medical Services and for implementation of routine Occupational Health Services for JGC Corporation medical services at Doha/Ras Laffan.
• Assist in oversees case management for injuries, illness, restricted work and return to work plan.
• Administer other medical visits including Occupational Health (OH) assessments, treatment and referrals
• Assist in providing occupational health surveillance, including administration of health risk matrix and review/assessment of pre-employment physicals / fitness for work guidelines, as per policy.
• Establish a medical surveillance program that encompasses hazard identification and monitoring in conjunction with Camp safety personnel.
• Liaise with RLC Medical Services, Al Khor & Doha HMC Hospitals and other local hospitals.
• Establish medical relationship with patients, contracted medical referral centers, OH Physician and contracted medical services.
• Support the Development and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health &
• Emergency medical and OH procedures, including appropriate protocols and medical directives.
• Support the wellness programs (e.g., Health Promotion, Room Safety, Medical Awareness, etc.
• Administer computer based system for staff health records, vital statistics and reports (e.g., clinic visits occupational and non-occupational visits), etc., prepare reports and statistics as required.
• Conduct First Aid Training to staff.
• Assist in the Inspection of Camp facilities and buildings, including mess hall and welfare facilities and First Aid Boxes/AED, to ensure effective infection control and compliance with occupational health standards.
• Prepare inspection report and keep a track of corrective actions.
• Contribute in all activities related to set up of the JGC Corporation company clinic and procurement of medical equipment and consumables.
• Prepare inventory, maintain stocks and keep a track of expiration date.
• Maintain calibration and service charts for all equipment and ensure that clinic First Aid Kits and medical supplies are adequate and maintained.
• Contribute in planning and implementation of budget for Health and Hygiene matters and track
• Monthly balances.
• Ensure “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
• Demonstrate visible commitment to HSE by periodically taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc.
Hospital Based Nurse:
• Performs hospital work as a Nursing Staff Such duties include: Accepting patient to ward,
• Carrying Doctors order, collecting medical Sample and send to Laboratory and start Medication.
• Perform Total Nursing Care to all patient assigned on Department.
• Provide Patient details data on chart and document all possible symptoms related to patient
• condition.
• Assist in Doctors rounds and in all special Medical procedure.
• Communicate with patient family and relatives
• Plan, implement and evaluate patients care.
• Teaching and guiding junior staff
• Counseling of patients and assisting their need
