WORK EXPERIENCE
wet chemist
GE Health Care - July 2016 to Present
The dicer and the OGP tester work hand in hand to produce a high-quality product. The use of the dicer will show what problems that are within the range of the human eye. The OGP tester will show what is wrong on a microscopic level. When used together adjustments can be made to produce product at a high level. Have used time management to keep the flow of work to continue with accuracy and precision. Contractor Wet Chemist

Wet chemist
GE Health Care - January 2016 to July 2016
Performed as a wet chemist that produces a product that is used in CT detectors. To make the product the use of reactors which were used to achieve chemical reactions, that produced a product on a large scale. Operated centrifuges and ovens were used to eliminate bulk solvents from the product. Monitored sinter ovens. Through my experiences I have become very successful with time management and prioritizing to produce maximum amount of produce.
Qc//QA associate
Berry Plastics - Milwaukee, WI - February 2015 to October 2015 At Berry Plastics, a producer of plastic bags, I was assigned to run tests to see if they pass specifications. The use of gas chromatography was used to measure the amount of adhesives that were in the product. To measure the color of the ink a UV-Scan was performed to see if the right color was used. Transmittance was used to measure the sample to, which verified that the appropriate amount of light was allowed to pass through the bag so it does not affect the product.
Lab tech
Cambridge Major Laboratories - Germantown, WI - May 2012 to March 2015 As a Lab technician at Cambridge Major Laboratories, a producer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients
(API) where produced. I was trained and performed in the use of cGMP, Buchi Rotoevaporators, Thin Layer Chromatography, Extractions and washes of solutions, acid base flip flops, making and using columns to remove impurities and achieve the most efficient yields possible. Chemistry Tutor, I
Chemistry Tutor Milwaukee Area Technical College - West Allis, WI - March 2010 to December 2012 assisted struggling students with their student careers. In the process I gave insights on how to be a more efficient student. We went through study skills, prepared for class, discovered how each student learns, and presented the material so they can flourish
Chemistry Internship
Milwaukee Area Technical College - Milwaukee, WI - June 2011 to August 2011 At Campbell's Soup, during the eight weeks as an intern, I became familiar with how a lab functions to aid and improve the quality of product to achieve the most efficient yields possible. This was achieved by calibration of equipment, such as scales, ovens and pH meters. Used the HPLC and refractive index, and was introduced to Percent Solids to discover if there is a problem and find out what needs to be done to complete production. Dialysis Technician
Commonwealth Dialysis Center - Greenfield, WI - December 2005 to September 2009 As a Dialysis Tech I was responsible for the set up and changeover of four patient stations throughout the day. Some of the responsibilities include documenting vital signs, administering some medications (mostly Heparin and Hypertonic Saline Solution) to aid in the fluidity of the dialysis treatment, and communicating with the nurses when problems arise.
