Sensor Array Record hydraulic pressure over time
Utilizing two hydraulic pressure sensors and an arduino shield attached to a raspberry pi, I designed and programmed a sensor array with a mixture of C++ on the arduino and Python on the Pi. The array would detect a change in hydraulic pressure, record the pressure change over time, determine, the maximum and minimum pressures, and output all of that data to a network location to be analyzed by other industry software. The sensor array helped verify that a manufacturing press fit operation was producing good parts.
Micro-ITX Case Ultra compact case with room for full sized GPUs
Cadcrowd.com ran a design contest for an ultra-compact Micro-ITX form factor computer case. The design I submitted was ultimately chosen as the winner. The final design had a displacement of 7.3 liters, and utilized an SFX power supply and GTX 1080 GPU. Case is made from sheet aluminum, and design was done in Solidworks 2016.
Manufacturing Fixtures and Gauges Plant-wide Designer
Throughout my career at FN America, I designed many hundreds of fixtures, from simple drill jigs to complex hydraulically actuated mill fixtures for horizontal and vertical mills. I also designed all the plants custom in process and final inspection gauges.
