Responsible for creating and maintaining Commodity Strategies for critical commodities by analyzing suppliers’ capabilities, performance and pricing against changing market dynamics, and trends in technology and in the industry. Commodities include Aluminum, Galvanized Steel, and other Metals, as well as Raw Materials such as Resins, and Injection Molding (150-3000 ton presses). Develop and implement an effective sourcing strategy which optimizes purchasing leverage and ensures on-time delivery of materials at the lowest cost. Analyze and report out on industry trends.
