Current Project Management, Business Analysis and Agile process knowledge gained while successfully developing and managing projects for SAIC, HP, and AT&T. I have been developing requirements, user stories and managing multiple projects at AT&T Labs utilizing Agile project management tools for the last three years.
The organization was transforming from waterfall project management to Agile processes. I was viewed as Agile change agent, conducted Agile-training secessions and was a Scrum Master for approximately 70% of my projects. The majority of the software development projects were focused on development of new network management tools and analytics for the wireless and core transport networks. The IT data center transformations were focused on migration to virtualized IT infrastructure and building Hadoop systems. Examples of projects for Network engineering:
Wireless network signal strength analytics and signal strength heat maps for all cell towers
oBuild Big Data system (800 server Hadoop system) for the Wireless Network Analytics program
oWireless Network Big Data analytics program using data from wireless user devices and third party providers
Projects included analytics to trouble shoot specific issues for Network Engineering and Network Assurance
New and upgraded cell tower signal strength optimization program based on analyzing drive test data collected from wireless devices and network probes
Executive and Network operations level dashboards reporting 3G and 4G Network key performance indicators (KPIs) by regions and markets
oProject included gathering data from multiple network probes and wireless devices and then computing and displaying KPIs
Layer 3 Network engineering forecasting tool
oNew forecasting tool to optimize customer experience and capital spend
Development of microservices solutions for network management tools known as Enhanced Control, Orchestration, Management and Policy (ECOMP) for the AT&T Software Define Network (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) solutions.
Prior to AT&T I was at Hewlett-Packard (HP) for eight years. I was the Network Account General Manager (AGM) for the AT&T account reporting to the account VP-Account General Manager. I had responsibilities for developing and managing all sales, service support programs and unique product development projects in the Network segments of the account. I managed three account managers and oversaw all HP product sales and services support programs. Our team grew the business in the Network segments from $15M per year to over $140M per year in six years. We accomplished this revenue growth by developing and delivering unique fully integrated end-to-end products made up of HP and third party solutions optimized to run on specific hardware configurations.
Examples of projects:
Home Location Register (HLR) and Home Subscriber Sever (HSS) for the wireless network
Video server solutions for the U-verse network
Virtualized computing environments for network equipment management systems (EMSs)
Projects were engineered and designed to meet stringent customer technical and financial requirements. I was responsible for successfully developing detailed requirements, processes and user acceptance testing for the new products. I also managed negotiations between multiple departments of HP, third party providers and AT&T clients during all phases of product development and delivery. I was the central point of contact for all stakeholders for escalation and resolution of all issues that impacted product development and delivery. The most critical responsibilities of these projects became managing internal and external client expectations and scope management while meeting delivery schedule and budget targets. Projects included development of HLR
I was responsible for supporting the VP-AGM in development of executive office relations between HP and AT&T. This program established semiannual meetings between the CEOs of HP and AT&T, Presidents of HP Labs and AT&T Labs and multiple meetings each year between HP Product Management VPs and AT&T Network Planning and Engineering VPs.
I have product development, market management, business planning and operations experience working for AT&T as a manager and district manager in network operations, marketing and corporate strategic marketing and planning.
