Manage the Operations and Maintenance Facilities Contract and staff for the Armstrong Flight Research Center/NASA
Led our team of Journeyman Electricians, HVAC Technicians, General Maintenance Technicians, Fire & Life Safety Technicians, custodians and administrative staff and brought performance and service to successful levels, based on our performance we were awarded the next five year contract. I established an aggressive training program to ensure longevity and retention, aggressively brought our safety program to the forefront and made it relevant. The team now quickly responds to facility emergencies (i.e. unplanned outages, weather conditions, fires, and etc.). All tasks are completed in a safe manner by well trained and disciplined technicians. Customer satisfaction is high. I re-established the Facilities Maintenance Review (FMR) for all critical equipment/assets on the site. We created and implemented the Reliability Centered Maintenance Program. We are on time with all our required reports. Additionally, we continue working towards strategically preparing the staff for future success.

In this position I successfully performed as the Site Manager for operations and maintenance of the mission critical facilities at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center. I also understood PRIDE’s objective of employing and mentoring disabled persons.
The following is what I did to be successful:
1. Promoted and ensured the Safety Program through training, follow up, and placing qualified people in the proper positions
2. Quickly responded to any facility emergencies (i.e. unplanned outages, fires, and etc.)

Grey and ductile iron foundry, specializing in complex highly cored parts and precision machining.
Responsible for improving process, productivity and profitability in both Foundry and Machine shop operations. Changes made have resulted in uptime improvements by 36% and maintained a 95 to 98% uptime. Process improvements lead to a 11% drop in scrap, maintaining internal scrap levels between 3 to 0% Efficiency improvements through Lean and 5S procedures have shown reductions in labor costs by as much as 600K. Strategic planning with sales and production control has given our customers a 98 to 100% on time delivery rate. Successfully introduced ISO to and was certified which allowed us to keep and grow our customer base. Responsible to a staff of fifteen managers and their subordinates, approximately three hundred fifty employees. Interact with sales and accounting and provide weekly status reports to corporate office.
Introduced robotics in our grind department and machine shops to reduce costs and improve quality and consistency.
