RESPONSILBITES AND DUTIES

• Managing and motivating a team of over 50 staff, including accountants, shop managers and sales staff to increase sales and efficiency, and maximize profits.

• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock levels and control.

• Analyzing sales figures, forecasting future sales and interpreting trends to facilitate planning.

• Holding monthly sales and operation meetings with shop managers to review previous month sales and to make necessary adjustments such as changes in pricing policies and strategies.

• Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.

• Responding to customer complaints and comments personally via email and phone.

• Visiting the sales floor of all retail operations regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues.

• Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing by visiting competitor stores on a regular basis.
