Supervises and ensures implementation of quality and quick maintenance program for all the equipment/machines at wire bonding process.

Machine Handled: KNS (ICONN, PROCu/PROCuPlus, MAXUM/MaxumPlus, Dadge Ball Shear/wre pull machine

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance Shift Engineer.

Manufacturing Process Enhancement.

Review weekly maintenance schedule.

Review and assign work to maintenance employees.

Develop and execute training plan for maintenance workers.

Promote communication as well as good relations between the production and the maintenance departments.

Ensure housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained, most especially within the mechanical maintenance department.

Handle internal focus audit.

Assist Process Engineers in defining solution to problematic devices prone to reject such as lifted metal, LBOP / LBOL, shear and tensile strength failure.

Optimized machine parameters to increase UPH with respect to production quality.

Responsible for supporting manufacturing through restoration of hard down equipment at PBGA / SBGA / sCSP and MLF FOL such as wire bonders (KnS 8028/PPS, KnS Maxum Ultra & KnS ICONN / KNS ICONN PLUS).

Provides Equipment Failure Analysis reports for hard down equipment with target uptime utilization.

Design cost saving projects to enhance and improve production and quality output of equipment, especially at wire bond.

Coordinates with manufacturing and process groups on implementing various activities.

Perform Front-of-Line sustaining activities and major repair at wire bond station for machine set-up/conversion, parameter optimization and give necessary corrective actions on machine problem to eliminate downtime promoting higher utilization of all the equipment.

Extend repair capabilities on other stations at Front-of-Line such as Vision Plasma, Dage 2400/4000Series, Hizomet, Genesem 2D map etc. to gain and develop more skills.

Support Energy conservation program and implementation.
