Summary
I am a result oriented engineer with over 8 years’ experience, involved in the planning, design, development, and execution of international oil/gas EPCI projects. I have hands-on experience to perform progressively complex engineering tasks using current technology and standards. I possess a MS in Structural Engineering with background in structural design, finite element analysis and geotechnical engineering. During my career, I have effectively interfaced with other disciplines on daily basis to prioritize and deliver project activities in a professional manner. I have performed bid support, FEED, detailed design, structural analysis and developed procedures as per project specifications, design codes and software.

Traveled to fabrication yards, supplier offices, and offshore as required to support project delivery.
Attended HSE meetings and presented hazard identification and safety risk assessments.
Assisted with receiving, inspecting, and storing purchased/rented material and equipment.
Provided structural engineering support for vessel modifications and improvements.
Created deck layouts, sea-fastening arrangements and produced lift and load-out plans.
Prepared daily progress reports including project status and up-to-date schedules for project management.
Coordinated with personnel in other departments, project managers and client personnel to review designs and resolve areas of concern.
-Structural Engineer II
Nov 2014 – Nov 2016
Responsible for design and analysis of various offshore, onshore and subsea structures related to pipeline construction, such as pipeline end termination (PLET, PLEM, ILS), installation aids, hang-off systems, foundations (mud mats, suction piles, hold back anchors) and producing fabrication drawings and technical reports for the designed structures. Additional responsibilities include:
Defined engineering basis of design; including environmental conditions, load cases, fabrication tolerances, time and budget limits and communicated the potential risks and economic impacts with the clients.
Designed complex subsea, offshore and marine structures for load out, transportation, operation and fatigue load cases in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Performed detailed analysis using hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA) and standard industry software (STAAD, ANSYS, ABAQUS, Mathcad).
Foundation design and geotechnical engineering calculations, such as; bearing, sliding and settlement.
Performed tender support, conceptual design and FEED studies.
Assisted with procurement, fabrication and installation teams to ensure successful construction and installation of the designed structures.
Participated in preparation of RFQ’s, RFI’s, technical evaluation and vendor drawing approvals.
Reviewed all design drawings and reports for accuracy and compliance to project and industry specifications and produced IFC drawings.
Designated as company witness for load tests, pressure tests, and NDE procedures.
Supervised and guided interns and junior engineers through the design and analysis process.
