Relevant Work Experience:
Engineering Assistant at Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. Kandivali Plant
Designed and Analyzed Basic Components like Differential Case, Planetary Gear, Bull Shaft, Bull gear, Transmission Case etc. with different Software.
Hands on Experience of Double Flank Gear Rolling tests on Spur Gear Prototypes for evaluating Total composite error, Tooth to tooth error, Radial Run-out, Center distance Variation and detecting the High Spots.
Implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Quality Inspection / Process / Work Flow plans
Gained knowledge of Machining processes like Drilling, Milling, Hobbing, Deburring, Shaving & Grinding in Module 2 Cells.
Developed & Presented a presentation of in-detail Training Package for Diff Case & Planetary Gear cell to Enhance the competency level of the cell members and fresh Engineers. Relevant Projects Undertaken:
Self-sustaining Pyrolysis Reactor Design and Analysis (Filed for Patent):
To optimize the use of electricity in pyrolysis system, which is used for heating of plastic conveying through the screw conveyor.
To improve the efficiency of fuel extracted from waste plastic by pyrolysis process.
Used the various byproduct gas's temperature for reheating the plastic in the screw conveyor which helped to reduce the use of electricity used in the heating (Reason for patent filing) Design and Analysis of Pressure Vessel with ‘ASME’ codes:
Studied Design of pressure vessel by conventional and ASME method.
Compared Design of vessel by conventional method v/s Design of vessel by ASME Section VIII Division for both Design and optimum weight, which led to 12% of weight reduction of pressure vessel.
Analysis of ASME design and Optimized design by analysis. Design and Analysis of Frontal Crash/Roof Crush on a Passenger Van with Ls-Dyna and ANSA:
Developed a model to determine the crashworthiness of the vehicle under different scenarios at different speeds
Optimized the safety of the occupants in the vehicle by calculating stresses on the Dummy Model
Also, reduced the impact on occupant’s head and chest by implementing airbags into the vehicle. Optistruct Analysis of Different Models through HyperMesh:
Designed and analyzed various types of Trusses, Beams, Brackets and 3D Solid Models.
Determined failure criteria of each model to ensure its Strength and applicability. Analysis of Vibration System Using MATLAB and Non-Destructive Methods:
Understood the free undamped vibration system, its Eigen values, frequency and mode shapes.
Learnt how to reduce the vibration of the system
Used different Non-Destructive Methods like Ultrasound and Acoustic Emission Techniques for identifying the cracks, discontinuity & irregularity in different Materials. Additional Qualifications:
Certified course in CATIA V5 R20 at Indo German Tool Room (IGTR), Aurangabad.
Experience with Ls-Dyna, ANSA, HyperMesh, Pro-Engineer, MATLAB, ANSYS 14.0, AutoCAD, C++ & Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Familiar with Processes like DFMEA, TPM, PDCA, Poka Yoke, Kaizen, APQP, GD&T etc. Leadership & Membership:
Organized “Junk Yard Wars” in “SPECTRA’14” where I was exposed to Innovative skills through engineering knowledge.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE): 2012-2015.
Mechanical Engineering Students’ Association (MESA): 2011-2015.
