Design Of Floating Concrete Fuel Storage Tank Using Honey Comb Technology December 2012- May 2013

The Objective of the project is to make use of an innovative framing system called ‘Honeycomb Sandwich design’ which provides high strength and low weight characteristics in designing a floating concrete fuel storage tank. Design experience in the following areas has been gained during the course of the project:

Hydraulic Design of Floating Platform.

Design of Post-tensioned slabs.

Design of Pre stressed concrete Cylindrical tanks .
