Provide Logistics Management Support for the Global Telecommunications Systems (GTS) for the Department of State at the SA-26 facility. Provide Procurement, Assets Management and Inventory Management for the Information Resource Management (IRM), Operations (OPS), Enterprise Network Management (ENM) and Diplomatic Telecommunications Service Program Office (DTSPO).
Provide all aspects of logistics such as planning, implementing processes and flow of materials. Process and prepare logistics procurements and purchase requisitions for credit card and general purchase request for materials being received, assign bar coding, ensure GTS Funding Coordinator receives the shipping invoice and provides shipments to the GTS submitter. Prepare materials and hardware for inventory in the Beltsville Inventory Database System (BIDS) Assets Management Inventory Database. Prepare all credit cards and procurements thru the Ariba portal for the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS). Complete Task Orders thru the Beltsville Information Management Center (BIMC) Remedy Task Order database and Customer Request (CRQ’s) for material being issued and received for project requirements. Provide annual inventory and updates for over 10,000 items being on line and spares for supportability and maintainability. Prepare test equipment for calibration and update the (BIDS) database as items are being processed. Remedy 7.5 Knowledge Management Database and Change Management for support of materials that have been service request management solution, providing end users with access to self-search resources to resolve issues on their own. (KM) will help reduce service desk call volume, shorten resolution cycles, minimize escalations to higher-tier support, and provide accurate and consistent answers to customers. Make recommendations on cost-effective post-production support, including strategy to help ensure systems and logistics strategy and readiness are meet and sustainment. Logistics initial sparing for recommended spare components, assemblies, and subassemblies for initial interim support and for depot repair and site support use for replacement purposes in the material system equipment and end item directly associated with a prime mission product. Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory. Displays and validate a working knowledge of regulations, policies, and analytical procedures. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Process requests for equipment, supplies and services through issuance from stock, procurements through Blanket Purchase agreement, Department of State (DOS) contracts, procurement through auspices of Partner Organization and Working Capital Funds (WCF). Also, maintains complete inventory of accountable property, obtain and maintain stock administrative supplies, process telephone requests (new installations, relocation, audit, etc.) and processing of receiving reports. Coordinate for repair of office equipment and furniture, building/facility maintenance, vehicle maintenance and control. Coordinate all shipping matters arranged through Government and Commercial means including all documentation associated with this function. Area Custodial Officer (ACO) task is to keep track of NEPA and accountable property with over 10,000 accountable items. The Area Custodial Officer is responsible for the physical control of U.S. government property within a specific area and must track the location of each accountable item. The ACO works in partnership with the Principal Custodial Officer.
All property delivered to an office should be signed for and received by the ACO, including items purchased through the purchase card program. ACOs periodically conduct an internal inventory of equipment to ensure accountability for all property. ACOs also should never release an accountable item without obtaining a signature, releasing the ACO from responsibility for the item and reassigning it to the requesting person/office.

Logistic Management:

Develop Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC) by the output of the RCM analysis required. Develop, update, maintain documents to include but limited to briefs, Master Site Inventories (MSI), Integrated Logistics packages (ILP), Equipment identification Codes (EIC), Support Equipment, and Spares listings.
Data Management:
Provide logistics trade studies, Risk Management Analysis (RMA), and supportability assessments directly associated with the prime mission support and shall research, review and maintain a technical library consisting of Commercial off the shelf (COTS) and Government off the shelf (GOTS) material. Review and submit recommended modifications to the existing support baseline and spares levels based on analysis of usage data received from operating forces and from recommendations derived from depth logistics analysis.
