Core Accomplishments

Directed and guided the application development methodology of a large organization from a traditional waterfall

methodology to an Agile methodology. Benefits included an increase of developer productivity, reduced time to market

for software and created a culture of continuous learning and engagement of the application development teams

Served as the JPMorgan Chase Hub Technology Leader for the Dallas area, responsible for the growth and learning of

over 1000 technologist across all lines of business. Responsible for thirteen different work streams including training,

developing a technology "community" based on continuous improvement, college recruiting and hiring and employee retention and engagement.

Represented and directed the Securities and Custody Technology through the various sanctions given to JPMorgan Chase

by various regulatory bodies. These included enhancing Know Your Customer diligence, Office of Foreign Asset

Control reporting (OFAC) and point in time liquidity balances for the firm.

Worked with the Federal Reserve Bank during the financial crisis to improve liquidity in the mortgage market and was

responsible for the settling and custody of over $1 trillion in mortgage backed securities on behalf of the Federal

Reserve.

Developed a new product with business partners that allowed cash on hand to be used as collateral when the value of

securities was fluctuating on a daily basis and interest rates were falling making cash less valuable as a pure asset

Lead the Technology development some of the largest mutual fund companies in the world into the Exchange

Traded Fund (ETF) markets enabling them to grow their market share and JP Morgan to increase revenue by growing

assets under custody

Served on the Corporate and Investment Bank Diversity Council for the past seven years and developed, started and led

a program for high performing Black and Hispanic Assistant Vice Presidents that were on the Vice President radar

across the United States. Focus was on presentation skills, speaking skills and working across various locations with

peer groups. The promotion rate for the program participants was over 3 times higher than staff who did not participate

in the program.

JPMorgan Chase 1981 to August 2016

Managing Director Dallas, TX (2007 – August 2016)

Promoted to Managing Director, responsible for the applications that handled the custody and servicing of over $12

trillion in customer assets. Clients included mutual funds, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign nations and

the US Government. Led development and support teams of over 200 and consistently rated in the top tier of 180 feedback

from staff and internal clients. Led teams with various technology skills and disciplines including Java, .Net,

HTML, Microsoft, SQL, Sybase, Oracle, COBOL and DB2.

Executive Director Dallas, TX (2004 – 2007)

Promoted to Executive Director in January of 2004. Created the first Production Assurance Team on behalf of the business, Treasury and Securities Services. The merger with Bank One brought in the concept of a

Production Assurance Team and recruited for and set up teams globally, from Dallas to Chicago to Bournemouth,

England to Hong Kong to Australia. The concept was to "follow the sun" as applications were being utilized around

the world and decreased our time to repair during an outage by over 42 percent within 18 months of starting.

Vice President Dallas, TX (2000 – 2004)

In July of 2000 relocated from New York to Dallas. Chase had decided that it needed geographic diversity

and moved several thousand technology and operations jobs from New York to Dallas and Tampa, Florida. Very few staff

decided to relocate to Dallas so had the opportunity to build a new Technology team from the ground up. It was

an exciting and scary experience at the same time but with Y2K having recently been completed there were a number of

experienced technology professionals looking for opportunities and was able to build a strong team in a short period of

time.

Various New York City, New York (1981 – 2000)

Started with Chemical Bank in November of 1981 as an individual contributor. Worked with Chemical through mergers with

Manufacturers Hanover, Texas Commerce Bank, Chase Manhattan, JP Morgan and Bank One. Held positions in

Operations, Front Office and Technology over the course of career in New York.
