CPM Scheduler II Now. 2016 -- Present

MK Industries/Huntington Ingalls

Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.

Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.

Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.

Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

Experience using scheduling software (preferably Primavera).

A working knowledge of Critical Path Management (CPM). An understanding of Shipbuilding or construction sequencing.

An understanding of resourcing loading in a scheduling environment. Understand IMP/IMS development and maintenance.

Westinghouse Nuclear Power Plant Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Oversee resource planning and scheduling activities: Lead and coordinate efforts of other planners and participate in the performance feedback process. Assess work environment and advise management of resource needs. Recommend appropriate training of staff, upgrades or equipment replacement.

Create, update, and maintain Bills of Material and Material Masters ensuring proper communication of critical inventory and procurement data internally and externally.

Perform data analysis to determine appropriate inventory and procurement strategies for commercial and build to print components and assemblies.

Recommend and implement operational and organizational structure adjustments designed to enhance planning operations.

Lead studies and analyses of overall planning operations within the business segment to improve efficiency, cost, and to identify and implement best practices and process improvements.

•Manage schedule development using Primavera P6 extensively in order to plan and execute major projects in support of contract commitments.

•Develop a quantitative schedule basis for schedule resources, and logic.

•Perform analysis on and implement optimization concepts

•Develop and maintain interfaces between the schedule and other functional databases that serve as repositories for project information.

•Facilitate coordination with Project Stakeholders and across functional groups for delivering the AP1000 product

•Develop reporting and analysis in support of WEC, Constructor and Customer efforts. These roles support the Optimization project and UK/Mooreside projects.
