OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR, Leetsdale, PA 12/15 to present Oversee the selection, loading, receiving and replenishment of product in GNC’s distribution center. This particular distribution center serves all GNC retail stores in the northeast US, international franchises and E-commerce customers worldwide. Ensure on-time product deliveries covering 220 Giant Eagle stores throughout MD/OH/PA/WV. Supervise 60 employees

(union shipping/receiving employees and non-union support staff). Calculate daily projections that ensure sufficient manpower, need for overtime and early time-ins. Generate daily shift reports reflecting warehouse activity and labor requirements. Work closely with transportation regarding all aspects of deliveries. Meet all productivity targets by effectively dealing with and resolving day-to-day issues.

Optimize the workflow process, increase productivity, and reduce labor costs via supervisory skills and effective control over warehouse robotic s system used for: receiving dock to storage, transfer of goods to pelletizing and shrink-wrap stations/shipping docks/recycling bins, picking & put-away, and delivery of pallets from drop-off or pick-up locations.
