Oversaw and managed all component structural fatigue testing, both domestically and internationally in support of certifying the World’s first civilian tiltrotor.

Acted in a project engineer capacity, resolving technical issues on behalf of AW609 Engineering in regards to structural fatigue testing. Established a weekly cadence meeting with representatives from Program Management, the Certification Team, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Company Management, and representatives from the FAA, including AW609 Project Manager, Specialists, and Leadership. This meeting served the purposes of aligning all involved parties, increasing communication. Wrote, managed, updated, and tracked the schedules and plans related to Lab activities and structural component testing.

Acted as liaison between Engineering, AWPC Quality and Structural Test Lab (STL) Quality to ensure QMS practices were being utilized. Ensured completion of, collected information for, and prepared for submittal the following types of FAA conformity documents: Conformity Inspection Records (8100-1), Request for Conformity (RFC) (8120-10), Statement of Conformity (8130-9), Airworthiness Approval Tags (8130-3), and Statement of Compliance with Airworthiness Standards (8110-3).

Witnessed structural fatigue testing. Helped set-up, run, and troubleshoot tests. Reviewed and signed structural fatigue component test plans and test rig drawings.
