Job Responsibilities:
oTo carry out PAUT and TOFD inspection of piping,pressure vessels and tank as per code& standard, interpretation in all (A,B,C,S) SCAN and reporting .
oPhased Array inspection and Time of Flight inspection for corrosion mapping and weld inspection in sphere tank, piping and pipeline.
oUltrasonic inspection of welded pipes, plates & various kinds of jobs.
oPerformed Ultrasonic testing on piping in detection of crack, offset, low Thickness, Bead using manual UT Machine USM 35 X.
oCarried out high sensitivity ultrasonic testing in ER Welding & SA Welding Pipes using Auto UT Machines SOFRATEST, FRANCE &GE INSPECTION
oUT thickness carried out for elbows in tension and compression sides to various pipe lines in furnace.
oPerformed Ultrasonic Testing on piping in detection of corrosion, Erosion and Pitting
oPerformed Corrosion Survey and Detecting Loss of Metal & HIC by UT inspection on condensate lines, Oil & Gas Lines, Relief lines, Water Injection lines for the pipe diameter 2" to 53" in plant.
oPerformed Ultrasonic testing on piping in detection of crack, overlap, incomplete welding, offset & lamination.
oPenetrant Testing nozzle joints, shell butt and ‘T’ Joints & Dish End to Shell Joints in Tower and Column.
oNDT Inspection of various method such as MT, PT & UT in the field of Refineries, Fertilizers Petrochemicals, Corrosion Survey on Process Pipe lines, Tanks and Fabrication Yard, Casting upgrade &etc
oRadiography testing of the pipe lines, boilers, and plate joints.
oTo evaluate the result with respect to codes, stands and specifications. Reporting the major problems found during the NDE to QA/QC department.
oMagnetic particle testing and dye Penetrant testing of pipe lines and equipment weld jobs.
oPerformed Dye Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particle Inspection on Nozzles and Weld joints of Vessels and Exchangers.
oPositive material identification of CS,SS,DSS, Inconel & Alloy steel parent metal,weld joints &clad welds.
oTo carried out Ferrite check on weldments by using Ferrite meter.
oTo perform Hardness Testing on CS,LTCS,SS &DSS Welds,base metal and HAZ.
oMeasured Clad thickness by using Clad thickness gauage.
