Background:

I am looking for a full time position, preferably in the vicinity of Owensboro KY. While my degree is in engineering, I prefer work involving production, engineering or project type work. The Project Engineer positions I've held for Air Products were generalist engineer positions which required a working knowledge of many disciplines and the ability to learn many areas. In those positions I interfaced with the sales, technicians, other positions. Many times I filled their shoes, e.g.: I'm a very hands on person and many times would work side by side with the technicians programming PLCs or attend customer sales meetings to help the customer understand our systems. Work Experience

SFI, Contractor for Air Products Present from 10/'15 Worked programming PLCs and providing technical expertise to the systems I installed in the previous 10 years. I have worked on Siemens S7-200 and Horners. Air Products and Chemicals, Field Project Manager 10/'15 from 1/'05 My last position with Air Products was as a Project Engineer for the Hydrogen Energy Systems group. In that group I oversaw Hydrogen Infrastructure projects for Hydrogen Fueling stations. These stations were mostly for large distribution centers with several hundred fork lifts. The hydrogen fuel cells were displacing lead acid batteries. As the Project Engineer, I was responsible for budget, safety, schedule, equipment performance from the project inception to the project completion. Air Products and Chemicals, Construction Supervisor 1/'05 from 1/'96 I supervised multiple construction superintendents. My role was one of providing technical expertise for project planning before the project kickoff, contract coordination and training during the fieldwork. I was the construction supervisor for many international projects (Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, China) along with many domestic projects. Air Products and Chemicals, Construction Superintendent 1/'96 from 6/'88 I supervised site construction projects at the site level representing the owner. This involved managing contractors and other AP superintendents to guide the project to completion. The primary objectives were construction safety, schedule maintenance, quality and inspection of completed activities and general site contract administration.
