The extreme East Side of the building is the project utility tower consisting of two electrical and instrument control rooms (EICR's), one information center (IC), and two A/C units on roof. The facilities included a power load center for chilled water system, 9000kW emergency generator, 13.2kV and 380 volt motor control centers and 66 kV switchgear, two 25MVA, 69kV-13.2kV substations, and power distribution network of ten (10) low voltage unit substations and several low voltage switchboards and motor control centers.

Transplanted two existing oil refineries from Canada to the USA. Redesigned the power and control to fit the process.

Lead electrical engineer redesigned transplanted electrical equipment and material from the existing Mobil Oil Refinery's of two powerformer / hydrofiner units in Calgary, Canada. This task consisted of assessing shutdown 13.8kV substation, MCC's, 2500 hp hydrogen compressor and all existing electrical equipment installations and recommendations to reuse in the U.S.A at this site and the following one in Longview, Texas. Coordinated the reconditioning, restoring, motor rewinding and resetting of all salvaged and used equipment.

Lead Electrical engineer redesigned the relocated Oil refinery powerformer/hydrofiner unit electrical equipment from Canada to the USA. Modified the existing obsolete design for installation at this site to expand the existing facilities. The task included the reconditioning and testing of all the electrical equipment by a contracted shop in Alabama.
