Coordinated the successful transition of systems and processes from SiliconSystems to Western Digital within an aggressive 6 month timeframe.

Achieved 100% on-time performance for key new product introduction (NPI) deliverables within 6 months by renovating, streamlining, and standardizing NPI activities.
Achieved annual revenue growth target by reducing order-to-shipment lead time by 25%; implementing the first phase of a configure-to-order (CTO) manufacturing strategy; and restructuring the test methodology which reduced test times by over 70%.

Data Operations Director
Led U.S. consumer data processing operations, with 65 professional/technical personnel in two countries, and was responsible for loading of over 15 billion consumer records to database that generates over $600M in revenue annually. Responsible for an annual budget of over $20M comprised of labor, data purchase, and mainframe allocation costs.
Developed and implemented an aggressive restructuring and offshoring transition plan for data operations in alignment with the company’s strategic direction. Resulted in realized hard savings of over $500K annually; improved productivity by 20%; reduced headcount by 15%; while improving quality, flexibility, and process compliance. Accomplished by re-organizing department from account-based to activity-based operations; consolidating high skill/knowledge and customer interface activities; forming centralized data processing cell for low-skill activities; and then offloading those activities to Santiago, Chile.
Reduced average cycle time from 82 days to 36 days by overhauling the new data furnisher on-boarding process.
Increased the number of data records that load automatically from 65% to 80% by revising incoming data filtering rules and eliminating unnecessary data stops. Also resulted in reducing the data loading cycle time by 50%.

Digital Products Division – Provides sales, marketing, and services in the Americas for notebook PCs, projectors, and accessories.
Director of Operations (2000 – 2006)
Managed order fulfillment activities of notebook PCs that resulted in annual sales of over 2.4M computers and generated over $2B in revenue. Directed day-to-day operations of all channel and direct sales order fulfillment activities; represented the voice of the customer (VOC) and conducted collaborative planning with key customers.
As a Program Director on the multi-division Steering Committee, provided strategic direction, tactical planning, and coordination of a complex $30 million Oracle ERP implementation.
Saved over $6M annually by implementing a process to ship product directly from overseas suppliers to customers which reduced shipping time by two days and eliminated additional handling and shipping costs.
Improved on time deliveries of notebook PCs to a key retailer from 61% to 86%.
