Over thirty years of experience in the development and design of onshore and offshore processes, equipment and facilities for oil and gas. Experience in areas such as oil and gas gathering stations, storage and treatment facilities, gas dehydration, sour gas recovery/processing and production facilities, waste water treatment. Experience in process design and HYSYS simulation, PFDs and P&IDs development, equipment design, and process layout, purchasing specifications, and calculations. Completed studies, gap analysis, technical documentation and reports, attended safety and hazardous operations meetings.

Process Engineer - W.S. Nelson and Company 2006-2016

“Coulomb Phase 2 Redevelopment Project” for Shell Oil Company is the second phase of an existing subsea tieback to the Na Kika Platform in Mississippi Canyon Block 474. The planned redevelopment of the Coulomb field includes new subsea infrastructure, a new flowline back to Na Kika, a new C-4 well and topsides modifications. The conversion of the existing Coulomb Separator to the LP Gas system is required and will be executed as part of the Coulomb Phase 2 project. My activity as Process Lead: Separators and Chemical Pumps Sizing Calculations and Data Sheets; Simplified Flow Diagrams and SAFDs; worked on Basis of Design and Major Equipment List; PSVs Sizing Calculations; provided process data for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation; developed and updated calculation documents and studies.

East RDD Pilot Plant Colorado - Shell Oil Company, prepared Safety Flow Diagrams.

Jordan Field Experiment - Shell Oil prepared PFDs and checked consistency with P&IDs.

“Galapagos Area Development” Project for BP America Production Company revamps the NaKika offshore platform to handle additional production from the Galapagos Area Fields. My activity: Separators and Chemical Pumps Sizing Calculations and Data Sheets; PFDs, Simplified Flow Diagrams and SAFDs; worked on Basis of Design and Major Equipment List; PSVs Sizing Calculations; provided process data for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation; developed and updated calculation documents and studies.

“EMDC Bosi FPSO Study Pre FEED Engineering for the Topsides Configuration” for ExxonMobil Development Company. I performed Gas Separator Sizing; Oil Export Pumps Calculation and Oil Pump Size; WHRU Heat Capacity Calculation; worked on PFDs, Project Design Basis, and Major Equipment List

“Water Injection Pump and System Hydraulic Study” for ExxonMobil Production Company, focused on pumping and tanks as the Chad water production will increase. I evaluated the water flow hydraulics, using assumptions of emulsion water cuts and production rates and I calculated pressure drops using Linesize.

“Broadwater Energy Pre FEED Engineering and Permit Support of a FSRU LNG Receiving Terminal” for SAIPEM America. I worked for the Heat Medium Hydraulics Consolidation Study, that examine the use of a 50% ethylene glycol utility, performing calculation of Heat Media Volume in Pipe.

“Gap Analysis for compliance of Shell Specifications to the General Practices regulations”. Compared respective documents and completed the list of applicable actions for operations.

“SIEP-WTC Heavy Oil Pilot Plant” for Shell Exploration and Production Company. My responsibilities included the development and/or update of: Design Basis document, PFDs, Heat and Material Balance, MSDs, Utilities Summary, Equipment List, Equipment and Instrument Datasheets, and provision of support to all engineering disciplines.

“EMDC-Chad Poutouguem (Maikeri) Project Process Engineering” for the addition of a two phase separator and gas compression equipment for the Miandoum Gathering Station.

Process Engineer - PETROSTAR – Engineering&Research Consultancy Company for Oil and Gas Production Industries, Ploiesti, Romania 1984 – 1998

“Romanian Crude Oil Transportation Pipeline System Rehabilitation” for Pipeline Engineering GmbH Essen, Germany J. P. Kenny Technology Ltd. UK revamped the pumps stations and SCADA. Activities: Process calculations, PFDs development, material selection diagrams; equipment and instrument process data sheets; Project stages presentation and approval

“Tank Farm and Oil Desalting and Dewatering Station and Water Treating Plant” a Project for the Romanian National Oil Company that improved separation of crude oil, developed for the first time in Romania pilot Treater for crude, a flotation cell and oily water Hydrocyclone. I worked on the Feasibility studies and estimation of investments; Process calculations, PFDs and MSDs; Bill of materials, costs; Safety and environmental protection
