Engineering Intern- Voicegate Technologies(Telecommunications) India Jan-Feb 2015

• Assisted in testing of RF PCB packages for S-parameters, DC and Gain Testing

• Prepared test reports according to the industry standards

• Worked on waveguide, directional couplers, Low-noise amplifiers and Oscillators Engineering Intern- Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad,TS December 2014

• Proposed the design of RFID infant tagging system to tackle the menace of infant abduction in India.

• Used Arduino platform and programmed the RFID receivers to detect the tags in use and issue a possible alert.

PROJECTS:

RF Harvesting

• Used Advanced Design System for designing circuit to get the best obtainable efficiency and output power level harvested from ambient energy by choosing best network topology for rectifier circuit and impedance matching network.

• Designed a DC-DC power booster to compensate for attenuation caused by the circuitry

• Obtained maximum efficiency of 15.8%.

Amplifier and Oscillator design

• Worked on BJT amplifiers in different configurations and desired gain and bandwidth

• Designed oscillators on paper, performed computer simulation and soldered the circuit on a copper sheet

Comparison of TCP-only and UDP-only setups in terms of throughput and number of dropped packets in wireless multi-hop networks

• Wireless multi hop network using TCP and UDP protocol is designed and the performance metrics like throughput and dropped packets in the network are evaluated.

• The routing algorithm used is Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and the network was simulated on NS2.
