1. Augmented Reality based real time subcutaneous vein imaging Nov 2016

Vein imaging system is design to image the vein on the subcutaneous surface. This helps nurses, physicians for reducing the error rate for intravenous therapy or blood perfusion. This project helps to understand the frame extraction in real time, using Image processing algorithm on the images with the help of computer version, extracting features using KNN algorithm and back projecting on the skin surface for displaying an augmented vein.

2. F-MRI image processing using Statistic Parametric Mapping May 2016

Statistic Parametric Mapping software is used to map F-MRI, SPECT, PET images. Project involved learning of SPM software, extracting images using the software & reconstructing the extracted F-MRI images

3. 3D – MRI Region Growing Dec 2015

Created MATLAB script that loads MRI DICOM files. Developed MONTAGE view, with the image slices in an anatomically organized order. Segmented the brain tissue, eliminated skull and scalp, bifurcated normal and damaged tissue.

4. Microbubbles and Ultrasound: from diagnosis to therapy Nov 2015

Per the American Heart Association, up to two million Americans are affected annually by thrombosis. To overcome this problem, combination of ultrasound with contrast agents is used. A presentation was given by me, explaining the challenges in this treatment.
