Lead 3D Designer for Dept of Energy Nuclear Enrichment Plant

Responsibilities included working with lead engineers on field engineering, new plant design development and plant modifications for the Urenco USA Nuclear Enrichment Facility. Used appropriate 2D/3D software to detect design interference, space control and resolutions.

Performed moderate to intermediate I&C design assignments applying design knowledge and exercising independent judgment as well as initiative. Prepared detailed drawings, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and P&IDs for Nuclear Projects.

Designed and drafted steel and concrete structures such as bulk material handling systems, conveyors, ball mill, hoppers, chutes, pump house, pipe rack, modules, platforms, foundations, cranes etc.
