I have worked for the past 18+ years in different divisions within the oil industry, on land and offshore, on jack-ups, semis, drill ships and platforms. For the past 10+ years I have worked offshore in different areas of the world as a Drilling Fluids Specialist working with several different mud systems, on HPHT wells in some of the deepest waters and harshest weather condition in the industry. • Responsible for the proper implementation and maintenance of the mud system.

• Ensure that proper product inventory levels are maintained. Keep inventory at rig site properly stored and in good shape. Verify that the physical inventory of products matches with the reported one.

• Supervise filtration and completion fluids, as well as cleanup programs.

• Ensure that all routine tests are performed using the adequate lab equipments and instruments and report the results on time to immediate Supervisor.

• Identify drilling problems and recommend treatments to maintain and/or improve the drilling fluid properties.

• Supervise the addition of chemical products to the drilling fluid.

• Coordinate jointly with the Project Engineer/Sales Engineer all the delivery of products to and from the rig.

• Keep the on-site laboratory in order and clean.

• Perform calibration of laboratory equipment and computers, according to working plan and keep registers/logs.

• Ensure that the customer on the rig is aware of all developments as it relates to the drilling fluid.

• Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies associated with M-I Drilling Fluids Services at the rig sites and ensure that the supervised personnel fulfill them.

• If a QHSE event is observed on M-I/SWACO and/or customer location, take immediate action to report it, and to initiate the corrective and preventive action process.

• Participate in office and/or plant jobs in coordination with the immediate Supervisor.

• Worked at both water-based and synthetic based mud systems.

• Maintained proper rheologies and product concentrations in the mud required while drilling the well.

• Ensure that all information related for Well Recaps is logged on a daily basis so as to ensure that Well or Interval recaps are done on a timely basis.

• Maintained proper logistics of operation, ensuring we had proper amount of chemicals

• Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies associated with M-I Drilling Fluids Services at the rig sites and ensure that the supervised personnel fulfill them.

• Ensure that training requirements are current.

September 2004 - December 2004 Solids Control Technician

• Ensure that proper product inventory levels are maintained. Keep inventory at rig site properly stored and in good shape. Verify that the physical inventory of products matches with the reported one.

• Supervise filtration and completion fluids, as well as cleanup programs.

• Overlook daily operations of solids control equipment.

• Operate and run maintenance of centrifuges.

May 2000 - August 2004 Cuttings Re-Injection Supervisor

• Overlook daily operations of Cuttings Re-Injection from slurring and injection of cuttings.

• Supervise operation of personnel and equipment.

• Ensure that proper parts inventory levels are maintained. Keep inventory at rig site properly stored and in good shape. Verify that the physical inventory matched with the reported one.

• Complete all maintenance on Injection Pump and Slurry Unit to ensure all was working up to standard.

• Liaison between customer and company personnel.

• Complete daily reports

October 1997 - April 2000 Cementing Service Supervisor

• Liaison between customer and company personnel.

• Supervise crews involved in operating heavy equipment during cementing and acidizing of oil wells.
