Genesis Occupational Health and Genesis Convenient Care with Dr. Rick Garrels, MD. Treated patients with work-related injuries which involved ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and often required treatment with physical therapy and pain medications. Performed musculoskeletal and neurological maneuvers to help determine diagnoses. Treated patients with urgent illnesses such involved ordering and interpreting diagnostic illnesses and treatment with medications.
Iowa Cancer Specialists with Katherine Browne, MS, RN, NP-C. Assessing patients with oncological and hematological disease by interview, physical assessment, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Duties also included managing patients experiencing adverse effects from chemotherapy with supplements and medications and clearing patients for chemotherapy based on physical assessment and laboratory results.
Unity Point Internal Medicine with Peggy Creamer, ARNP. Duties included diagnosing and treating chronic illnesses, managing chronic illnesses with simple procedures and medications, conducting physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
