My job duties consist of treating and maintaining the health of all the animals, I also spent one day a week in surgery. My staff and I are in charge of cleaning and setting up the surgery room, wrapping packs. I order supplies and keep accurate inventory of all clinic and front desk supplies. My job titles were Technician, Receptionist, Kennel and Inventory person Job duties consisted of answering phones, making appointments, checking clients in and out. As a vet technician, duties consisted of placing IV catheters in patients, starting fluids, daily treatments, gathering patient history and performing blood draws for a variety of tests. I also cleaned cages and laundry. My inventory job consisted of keeping track of all the medications and supplies, making orders, entering all the invoices in the computer and putting all orders away.

I worked for QuarterHorse for 6 years as fulltime and 2 years off and on for the summer. My job duties consisted of answering phones, making appointments, checking clients in and out. I also took care of hospitalized animals, performed daily treatments, placed IV catheters, prepared animals for surgery, cleaned cages and did laundry. I assisted the veterinarian with various jobs and assisted with some emergency after hour calls. I also kept a detailed track of all the controlled substance logs.
