ACADEMIC PROJECTS
AIRCRAFT WING OPTIMIZATION USING MATLAB, Fall 2016
The purpose of this project is to optimize aerodynamic model for a subsonic aircraft wing. Two optimization strategies have been developed and tested.
The optimization problem has been formulated as a nonlinear mathematical programming problem solved by invoking the MATLAB optimization, which implements the method of GENETIC ALGORITHM
CALCULATING RESPONSE BY CONVOLUTION METHOD AND VERIFY IT IN SIMULINK, Spring 2016
Calculated the response for a given road profile by convolution method in vibration theory and verified the results in SIMULINK software.
SIMULATION OF TEXTILE INDUSTRY IN ARENA SOFTWARE, Fall 2015
This project provides information on energy-efficiency technologies and measures applicable to the textile industry.
Energy-efficiency improvement opportunities available within some of the major textile sub-sectors are given with a brief explanation of each measure with a few emerging technologies in the textile industry
The whole simulation is done in ARENA software.
STRESS ANALYSIS OF FOUR DEGREE OF FREEDOM by FINITE ELEMENT METHOD, Fall 2015
The displacements and stresses for a four degree of freedom are calculated using Finite element method and the results are verified through ANSYS.
ANALYSIS OF SURFACE ROUGHNESS AND CUTTING FORCES IN TURNING OF INCONEL 718 WITH PCBN,Spring 2014
This project presents the results of experimental investigation on the machinability of super alloy, Inconel 718 using TiCN – Al2O3 coated cemented carbide insert tool. The experimental investigation revealed that 300 rpm speed, 0.15 mm/rev feed rate and 0.3 mm depth of cut yield lower surface finish and hardness and higher material removal rate using GREY RELATIONAL ANALYSIS.
