Manage all utility production and distribution systems for this major state university with 200 buildings with more than 3 million square feet of space.

Supervise and mentor a team of more than 65 personnel, including interviewing and hiring staff; training associates on best practices of operations; and conducting performance evaluations, including terminations.

Oversee the university’s central utilities plant systems, which generate steam, domestic hot water, chilled water and electrical supply for 21,000 students and 3,000 employees across a large, 1850-acre college campus.

Lead all utilities and trade shops, including Life Safety; Plumbing; Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC); Tunnel; Sheet Metal; and Electrical Shop.

Monitor a $2.5 million budget, encompassing Lausche Heating Plant; HVAC Division; Electrical and Life Safety; Sheet Metal and Controls; Plumbing; and Tunnel Maintenance.

Purchase equipment for all utility futures, including those designed to improve energy efficiency.
