7th semester

Title of the Project : Computer Aided Design of a Transformer .

About the Project : With the help of a set of formulae which have been experimentally established, a computer program is developed for the design of a transformer. It gives the design parameters of the transformer based on specifications provided. After getting the final design a visualization of the structure of the machine is developed using computer programming.

8 th semester

Title of the Project : Electrical Design Estimating and Costing

About the Project : Efficient design of electrical wiring installations of a small industry and Gross estimation of the cost of installation.

Training

1.Two weeks Industrial summer training after 4 th semester at POWER MAKERS a transformer making factory at AMINGAON, GUWAHATI, ASSAM.

2.One month Industrial summer training after 6 th semester at INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED, (ASSAM OIL DIVISION),DIGBOI, ASSAM.
