Responsible for overseeing all computerized payroll processing systems in support of 8,500 teachers
and other staff employed through the Buffalo Public Schools, up to 60 institutions, supervising up to
10 staff in the absence of the department head, directing and guiding special projects as well as daily activities relative to computerized systems for payroll and HR
Responsible for the testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of improvements to the computerized payroll system comprised of 3 main software components: AESOP, MUNIS, and WorkForce; all
3 designed for specific purposes to facilitate the accelerated collection of employees’ timesheets,
with flexibility in accommodating the seamless integration of a proprietary database of substitute
teachers, tracking the absences of full time teachers and populating the timesheets with the reciprocal entries of substitute teachers covering their classes
