Experience Aug 2012 – Feb 2016 Contra International Doha, Qatar Sales Manager

Specialized in ELV & security solutions. Designing and integrating CCTV systems, access control, automation, structured cabling, IP Telephony and other as well as military graded security solutions.

Launched this ELV department at Contra International Doha back in 2012. Initiated contacts with all major consultants and contractors, executed ELV works and projects successfully regardless of the fierce existing competition all by myself due to the company’s low budget for this department. I was able to achieve these works by carefully selecting qualified sub-contractors. I have also made excellent relations with multiple manufacturers and distributors for security systems and other technologies locally and abroad.

My main task is finding the opportunities and turning them into sales. Designing the systems, selecting the products and systems, quoting them and doing the proper follow up from office and at site.

Reason for leaving: due to the low or no-budget dedicated to this ELV department, I feel that growing is not possible. And since the Qatari market is evolving in a fast pace, I need to join a professional entity that is well-based and willing to cope with that growth. This will give me a better opportunity to grow and be able to apply the new technologies in my field that are also evolving.

Telecommunications, IP Security, Aviation, Diving, Skiing and reading Volunteer with many NGO’s in many cleanup campaigns. Anchor of an environmental radio show on Lebanon’s Sawt El Ghad for 2 years. This show was all about the environment and giving awareness and news flashes about the eco-system in Lebanon and worldwide. I started my environmental activities back in 1997 when I co-founded an NGO called OBBA (Operation Big Blue Association). As I am in love with my country’s nature especially the Mediterranean sea, I started this NGO with some friends, in 1997, with a determined will to make a change. And now after 18 years of hard work, OBBA has a national day in Lebanon to clean up the coastline. Ever since I started this work, I have been involved in many environmental seminars and events. And after this long track record of being a proud environmental activist, I have lead campaigns and seminars in different schools and universities across Lebanon promoting the Green way of thinking and explaining about the importance of recycling and using renewable energy. I have done numerous researches in waste management and renewable energy and I am always up to date with the new Green technologies. In January 2012 I represented Lebanon in Tallinn, Estonia in the “Let’s Do It World” convention where more than 85 countries gathered in one place to discuss ways & schemes to clean-up their countries. Throughout those many years of being involved in the environment, I have met many presidents, ministers, cabinet members and other Public figures in Lebanon. I have also assisted in many televised talk shows as well as radio shows to convey the message of how to be Green-Minded. I also have knowledge of our countries many recycling plants and I have many ideas of how to improve what exists and set up new recycling facilities. Recently I was promoting and implementing with the help of engineers and environmental NGO’s, waste water treatment plants made out of Bamboo in many villages in the North of Lebanon and in the Mount Lebanon regions

My sole aim and determination are to convert the minds into thinking Green and I will do my utmost to achieve what I believe in the most. And I believe that this determination and will to achieve can be manifested as well in my secular work wherever I am on this planet Activities
